The question is out there – have Rural Development (“R.D.”) funds been used up? The answer is no – at least currently. However, it is true that not all lenders are able to do R.D. loans – even if they previously were able. If you, or someone you know, is interested in utilizing R.D. funds, make sure they contact the Rural Development office directly: (406) 829-3395, extension 4.
R.D. Financing is still a great option for homes that qualify. It can be a great way for people to get into home ownership without a large down payment (if any) and without paying a large amount in closing costs. For qualified Buyers, it can also be a great way to lessen the burden of a high monthly payment.
